No jacket images and no film stills: those are under copyright and this archive holds no licence for them. Every cover and every poster on the site is a typographic placeholder generated for the purpose. The exception is photographic: the portraits of the author on the home page, used here as documents.
Three short sentences are quoted, each of them a widely cited opening or closing line, given with full attribution and kept in the original English rather than in a translator's wording.
